Our first retail installations came from our relationship with Meantime Brewing. Having built them a variety of apps, games and displays for their festival and event activations, they asked us for help with installations for their brewery’s visitor centre, restaurant and bar. Since then we’ve built a wide variety of digital retail installations.
The Body Shop use our personalisation app in over 200 of their stores worldwide, while Shiseido uses a different personalisation app of ours in Nars and Laura Mercier concessions at John Lewis and House of Fraser. Both of these directly drive sales of the product at the point of purchase and create an item customers want to share on social media.
Playful product discovery
We built a mixture of multi-language product discovery, education and engagement tools for Vype. These appear in over 200 stores worldwide, helping customers browse the full range of products and learn about the differences and benefits of each. By doing so they reduce the workload of store staff and ensure customers aren’t kept waiting.
Entertaining brand engagement
If it’s entertainment rather than education you’re after, then we’d be happy to demonstrate the games we’ve built for Meantime Brewing, Converse and Sky. Meantime initially used their Hop Harvest game at festival bars, to encourage customers to stay at their bar for longer. Converse’s virtual ‘Graffiti’ installation engaged customers with their new ranges of graffiti and tie-dye shoes. Both required people to enter their names and emails before playing and subsequently drove a large increase in data acquisition for the brands.
Sky needed a way to keep the kids entertained whilst their sales teams signed the parents up to their fibre-optic offer. After taking over Westfield with a 360 degree, multi-screen Lego Batman experience we sent a pop-up version to visit shopping centres across the country. And, to keep the brand engagement going when everyone got home, we built a dizzying mobile version.
